Estonian based company Maksekeskus AS has entered into a partnership with Finnish based Paytrail Plc to provide their customers Finnish online payment methods.

“We are pleased to have Paytrail as a local partner in Finland. Maksekeskus, part of Omniva Group, is a payment service provider making it easy and affordable for online merchants to do business across boarders. The cooperation with Paytrail enables our 900+ merchants from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to seamlessly collect payments from Finnish consumers online and benefit from the continuing growth of e-commerce in Finland.” says CEO and Chairman of the Board of Maksekeksus, Mihkel Karu.

"It's a pleasure to work together with the leading online payment service provider of the Baltic states. We believe that with this co-operation, we will get to offer Finnish payment methods to a large group of Baltic online stores," comments CEO of Paytrail, Markus Laurio.

Both Paytrail and Maksekeskus have grown rapidly and offer a huge amount of separate online payment methods on the principle of one company and one contract.

Maksekeskus is a hassle-free payments solution that helps online merchants to expand abroad quickly and easily. They give companies either small or large the opportunity to sell to new export markets without the need to travel abroad and deal with many different partners in order to start collecting payments from customers. They are a one-stop-shop for enabling all local payment methods to successfully sell in the Baltics, Finland, and even globally. With one contract and one integration merchants can quickly activate up to 20 different payment methods.

Paytrail, a part of Nets, strives to eliminate the obstacles of online business and to see things from the customer's viewpoint while keeping the merchants best interests in mind. They provide everything that is needed for online shopping. In addition to traditional payment methods (bank ePayments, credit and debit card payments, invoicing and installments), Paytrail also offers an online shopping solution that allows consumers to use one login for all their online purchases. More than a billion euros have passed through Paytrail’s system and Paytrail operates as a payment partner for over 10,000 online stores. They make shopping nice and easy.
